Good win in Dunganny in the Premier Division 1 Relegation Semi-final v Skyrne.
Summerhill got off to a slow start and trailed by 4 points to 1 after 10 minutes but out scored their opponents by 2-5 to 0-1 in the remainder of the first half, Summerhill’s goals coming from Darragh Tormey and Manny Magno.
Skyrne got the first score of the 2nd half when a free dropped short into the square and was bundled over the line to cut the deficit back to 4 points. Summerhill responded well hitting 6 points without reply to pull away again. A second Skyrne goals with 2 minutes remaining made little difference as Summerhill ran out winners on a scoreline of 2-13 to 2-5.
