Summerhill faced local rivals Trim in Round 2 of the Division 2 Under 15 Championship. It was the visitors who had a slender lead at half-time, after scoring a quick-fire goal and point against the run of play.
However, Summerhill came out strong in the second half, turning the game around with a series of decisive counter attacks and quality scores. Despite Trim’s early advantage, Summerhill’s resilience and determination saw them take the lead in the closing minutes, and the Hill held out for the win!

Our U15 Premier 1 team (primarily U14 players) put in a solid display in torrential rain throughout the game. Despite leading at half-time, Summerhill only added one point to their total in the second-half. The conditions spoiled the game as a spectacle and Dunderry ran out winners in the end.
