Junior Football Championship Preliminary Quarter Final

Summerhill came back from the dead in this Junior Championship Preliminary Quarter Final to book their place in Quarter Final proper in a hard fought match played in Dunshaughlin this morning. Going in at the break they were down 0-3 to 3-4 but, the game isn't over until the final whistle sounds, and to give each and every one their credit the battled it out. They kept plucking away with point here and there until Cian Devlin blasted to the net twice and suddenly there was light. Shortly after Conor Lyons also struck the net twice one a  penalty which he struck very well, this put the Hill ahead by four points , Dunboyne pulled one back but Summerhill held out and were deserved winners. They now play Dunsany on Wednesday 7th September in Skryne at 7.30.
