50th Anniversary Dinner and Presentation Night

On Thursday night 26th January the Club held its Annual Dinner and Presentation night in the Community Centre Summerhill, we also celebrated 50th anniversary of the 1966 team winning the Junior Championship by inviting that team/ panel to join us

Fresh from his magnificent win in the Cheltenham Gold Cup trainer Gordon Elliott and his team paraded Don Cossack through his home town of Summerhill on Saturday evening.

Presentation Night 2016

At the Club Presentation Night held in Trim Castle Hotel on Saturday 16th January 2016 a special Presentation was made to Tom Austin to mark 50 years since he was Club Chairman.

Summerhill Senior Ladies Gaelic football team starred in the new Lidl LGFA telivision ad which was aired on RTE 1 after the 9 o'clock news on Friday evening.

Dinner Dance & Presentation Night

The Club are holding our annual Dinner Dance & Presentation Night on Saturday 16th of January in Trim Castle Hotel at 8:30pm. There will be a medal presentation to the minor team at this event.

Summerhill Minors Complete the Treble #468

Summerhill recently won the Blue Riband of underage football in Meath when the defeated Skyrne to win the Division 1 Minor Football Championship for 2015.

€6000 Raised for Ichthyosis Support Group.

A big thank from Club to everyone who supported our fundraising for the Ichthyosis Support Group . A fantastic total of €6000 was raised.

Golf Classic in aid of Ichthyosis Support Group **POSTPONED

Unfortunately due to the bad weather our golf classic in aid of Ichthyosis Support Group on Saturday has been POSTPONED till a later date.

Summerhill GFC Golf Classic in aid of Ichthyosis Support Group

Summerhill GFC are running 2 Golf Tournaments (9 and 18 holes) at Rathcore Golf Club on Saturday 5th December. 4 players per team, cost per team is €120 for 18 holes or €100 for 9 holes.

Summerhill GFC "PEIL"

Summerhill GFC "PEIL" commences from next Monday evening the 16th November in Community Centre.

Dinner dance

Summerhill GFC will be holding the annual dinner dance in Trim Castle Hotel, on 16th January 2016, which will include the presentation of medals to the winning minor football team.

Summerhill are holding their annual "Lá Na gClub" family fun day on Sunday July 19th at the clubhouse from 2pm. Lá na gClub is time to celebrate and have a fun family centred day especially for the younger members in the Club.
